The SMAC was established in 1932 and has a rich history right through to the current day. Check the club history page here.

We are a friendly club with a wide range of member interests, we welcome new members and can offer flight training to beginners.

As you navigate you way through the site whenever you see italic blue and underlined text in a paragraph it means there is a link or extra information to be had by clicking on the text.

Joining the SMAC costs only £17.00 per annum, this represents great value when considering the very varied events, social activity and experience that being a member of SMAC provides.

Website updates

For sometime we have had some serious website update issues, we use a slightly unusual system where all of the website images and files are shared using Microsoft Onedrive, this enables multiple users to update the website. However there has been an issue that was difficult to resolve, hopefully we are over that now.
